 Bring it ON : Fight to the Finish starring the famous Christina Millan, the main actress. Summarize from wikepedia and my own narration.

Lina Cruz[ Christina Millan]  is a tough, sharp-witted cheerleader from East L.A. who transfers to Malibu Vista High School after her widowed mother remarries a wealthy man. Lina not only finds herself a fish-out-of-water at her new high school, she also faces off against Avery, the snobbish and ultra-competitive All-Star cheerleading Captain who leads her own squad, ‘The Jaguars’ after the high school squad, ‘The Sea Lions’, did not vote for her to be Captain.

After Lina upsets Sky, her stepsister, she is forced to join The Sea Lions. She goes into the school stadium to check them out and finds Evan, a basketball player who is also her crush, practicing hoops. He is also Avery’s younger brother. Lina impresses Evan, and The Sea Lions vote her Captain. When Lina is Captain, Gloria, her friend from East L.A, is called to help her out.

After a team member from the Sea Lions quits, Lina calls her other friend, Trey, to come and help her out. At a basketball game, the Sea Lions go on and perform, but a fall takes place, so The Jaguars, led by Avery, are there and save them from their misery. Lina calls for back up and takes the Sea Lions to an impromptu flavour school to work on their movements. She later meets Evan waiting for her there, and Victor, Gloria’s boyfriend, befriends him.

The next day, Lina comes up with the idea of The Sea Lions competing in the All Star Championship. After the team agrees to double up their practices, The Sea Lions are invited to a Rodeo Drive Divas (RDD) party. Following Sea Lion practice, Gloria and Trey are expelled when Avery goes to the principal and gets Lina in trouble for sneaking them in without approval. Lina refuses to go to the dance but is confronted by Sky. Evan takes Lina as his date to the party, where Gloria and Trey turn up. Lina and Avery proceed to have a dance off. Lina wins the dance off, and Avery tells her that she does not belong in Malibu using multiple racial slurs. Lina, angered, runs off the dance floor and outside, where Evan follows her. There she breaks up with Evan, sends for Gloria to take her back to East L.A, and quits being Captain of The Sea Lions.

There, Lina is confronted by Gloria and Trey, so she stays at Malibu and becomes Captain of The Sea Lions again. The next day at school, half of the Sea Lions squad quits because of Lina’s routines and practices. Avery and Kayla approach Lina, Christina, and Sky to tell them that they are dreaming if they think they have a chance at winning the Spirit Championship. Sky loses her temper and tells them to back off, otherwise a fight would start.

Lina then goes on a field trip to East L.A with the remaining Sea Lions, where Gloria has persuaded a gym to sponsor the Sea Lions and some of the members of The East L.A.Rough Riders as an All Star squad. By combining the Sea Lions and the Rough Riders, they become The Dream Team.

The ending ? You got to watch it. My rating is 10 stars for these highly family entertainment. Watch the youtube trailer.

Remembering Aaja Nachle – Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is officially selected to be the Heroine of the custom designed movie just for her by Yash Chopra

November 30 2007 was the official date that has made everyone waiting for the release of Madhuri’s Comeback movie after a long hiatus after Devdas that scores her the Best Supporting actress by FilmFare. During that month i still remembered repeating the 30 secs Aaja Nachle title song clip on youtube over and over again and being able to get my ticket on that release day was a major wow for me as im one of Madhuri’s Fan. Till today Aaja Nachle is my fave among others and it is a gem to have the dvd as a collection.

A musical film based on dance and love is the theme and it all begins with Dia, a trained bestest choreographer from New York after leaving her town of Shamli culture bringing a daughter as a single Mother. In new York she was the leader of a dance group and this movie hit it with a westernized dance move that simply brings Madhuri at the age of 40 still got what it takes to gives her the title :

Queen Of Bollywood

Dia (Madhuri Dixit) is a divorced mother living in New York and must go back to India after she receives news that her dance guru is on his deathbed. When she arrives in Shamli, a small city in western Uttar Pradesh, she finds that he has died and left her the responsibility of saving and reviving the Ajanta Theater where she used to dance. The Ajanta Theater has not been danced in or cleaned in the longest time. She enlists the help of the village doctor who informed her about her guru’s illness.

Who would have forgotten Dia’s Dance song title Aaja Nachle to wint he support of the townspeople to save Ajanta. Remeber the black and shiny blue Ghangra she wore for the dance. Amazing

The problem is that a political leader (Akshaye Khanna) wants it torn down and turned into a shopping mall. The storyline follows Dia and her challenge to stand up for what she believes in and fight for the cause to the end, while trying to win back the love and support of the people of the town whom she walked out on ten years ago. At first she tries to dance like she would when she was at home, but no one was impressed. She was shocked by how much has changed, but didn’t give up. How she does it starts with her idea of creating a musical like she did when she lived in India. Tryouts begin and so do stories. In the end she wins the Aajanta interest but how she wins it is a must for you to watch!

 

The movie is a complete theme and it amazed me till today of how Vaibhavi Merchant choreographed the Last climatic scene of the Laila Majnu Play that is the main highlight 20 minutes for the ending. Simply captivating. Madhuri donning bright clothes and ghagras makes every seconds of her appearancea speechless appreciation.

Watch this clips and lastly, i will give 10/10 for this movie and to all Madhuri’s fan this is a gem to collect. Walt Disney : The Prom

This Evening im going to share with you a beautiful movie about teenage and young adults love, college, Proms and making the right decison in lovelife. Yes, the hint is there and its none other than Disney The Prom which hits cinemes mid 2011 and now out in Blue Ray and Dvd. I watched it and yes i fall in love with the characters and how they interprete their lovelife and the beauty of their problems which became a highlight of what we can relate with. Enjoy my reviews adapted by wikepedia and my interpretation

The Prom

Class president Nova  has been planning the school’s prom. “Bad boy” Jesse Richter (Thomas McDonell) has been missing school lately and showing other “unacceptable” behavior, such as riding his motorcycle on school grounds. Principal Dunnan (Jere Burns) has a talk with him, but is not satisfied with Jesse’s attitude.   The shed where the prom props and items are kept catches fire and burns down. The next day, a devastated Nova, with no decorations and only three weeks to prom, asks her friends for extra help which they all back out of.

Principal Dunnan, seeing her dilemma, has an idea, and forces Jesse to help her for Prom, or he won’t graduate. Although Nova and Jesse both are unhappy with this situation, they comply anyway. As the date becomes closer to prom, Nova and Jesse grow closer while working together.

Nova, class president a major highlights in her academic career was stop by her dad upon having any feeligns for Jesse which in return makes the dad confronted him to stay away from his daughter. Thus doign so, Jesse reacts with a hostile and Nova became hurt by that emotionally and her dad admitted making she feeling utmost disappointment in her dad for ruining a chance of her having great memories with a date on prom nite. With whom she has made prom a reality after everything is burned down.

A movie filled with love and realistic confessions and life, this is one great movie. The ending? You watched it to find out cause i wouldnt want to ruined any surprise haha.

09/10 is my rating for this show.

Bounce n Bounce

Good evening my dear readers. Tonight i simply would like to share what i felt over certain things that had happened in my life a few years or months ago. Over a split second i felt like crying to myself over my own stupidity in trusting a complex another till the extend of my entire happiness relies on the other happiness. I felt like a loser for giving in to every demand and for that, i felt utmost foolish and lame about myself that it simply make me learnt life the hardest way.

Not to trust anyone easily or infact no one can be trusted.

Why was i a follower back then? Why do i love someone so much and in return i gave my very trust into that person who simply breaks every little trust i had in her? Hasnt the previous years lesson a good one till i all ow myself to be trap again and this time a very very dangerous trap that i have gotten over with.

A lier is a lier.

Guess im too nice to forgive and allow that other to smile more and im, the unhappy one.  Am over and no more and i feel great. Guess this is God’s way of telling this is for the best.

May i stop letting myself be trap again.

Its midnight and im only home about an hour ago and there has been alot that i would like to share beginning from my life,to movies, and lastly to what i simply would like to type in my journal for your views. My apologies if my entries may seem bored but sincerely from the editor note, may what i experience and share be a delight for all hehe.

For tonight my mind went blank currently and if i continue typing it will be simply a longwinded statement of fragments so to straightened my entry, allow me to share a song with my guests. A song that really touches my heart and the elements of the music is simply sweet.

ThaiLand Golden Mermaid Statue

Something fascinating and exquisite i would like to share with my readers about a statue that has been the highlights of Thailand beach and as claimed by the townfolks, the history of that statue existence is real.

Ever heard of Ariel, the little mermaid ? Well this isnt Ariel but Songkla Thailand national mascot and also the main tourist attractions as everyone would like to take a picture with her. Observe this statue.

This history goes as one of the Thai folk, a fishermen spotted a golden look alike lady near the beach combing its golden hair. Just as he approached, she dive into the sea revealing a shimmering golden Fish like tail from her bottom waist onwards and never resurface again. One day, Thai Prince was walking along the shore, get into his royale ship but due to the waves, he drown and was saved by a golden lady from the sea with a tail. He drew a description and it seem like a Mermaid.

He ordered the best Gold and Bronze scupltor maker to carved that mermaid from Solid Bronze. 

Jasmine and roses are offer to her as more and more sighting are heard whenever items or people drown in that sea saved by a golden lady. Assuming and believing it might be that Golden mermaid, she is being worship as a goddess.

Tourist are free to took pictures with her and this is a must see tourist attraction when one visits Songkhla Beach.

Overlook behind her is the South China Sea where the infamous Nyai Roro Kidul lives in – An indonesian Folklore about a Sea Queen who controls the ocean if the south Sea.
